Whyte Bike Covers — Portobello, T-140 & Clifton

Whyte is a British brand best known for trail bikes and for urban hybrids that share the same flat-bar feel. Both kinds tend to live outdoors — the trail bikes in sheds and back yards, the hybrids locked up outside a flat or in a communal bike store — because a full-size bike is rarely welcome in a hallway.

Almost the whole Whyte range takes the XL / MTB, our wider cover, and that includes the urban models. The gravel Gisburn is the one exception and takes the STASH or the URBAN.

Which BikeParka fits your Whyte?

Mudguards, a rack or a rear child seat can push an urban Whyte up a size, so send us the model and what is fitted and we'll check before you order.

Every BikeParka rain cover is waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop and PFAS- and PFC-free. The URBAN can be locked to the bike through its built-in panels; the STASH and XL / MTB have brass eyelets at the hem for a cable lock.

Which size cover?

Bar width is the number to work from. Nearly every Whyte, trail and urban alike, sits past 63cm and needs the XL / MTB, which goes out to 100cm. Only the gravel Gisburn stays inside 63cm, where the STASH and the URBAN fit.

Which cover fits a Whyte Portobello?

The XL / MTB. Even though the Portobello is an urban bike, our fit data puts it on the wider cover, which takes handlebars up to 100cm.

What fits a Whyte T-140?

The XL / MTB again. The STASH and URBAN are made for handlebars up to 63cm, which is narrower than the bars on a trail bike.

Which cover suits a Whyte Gisburn?

The Gisburn takes the STASH or the URBAN — they are the same size and fit. Choose the URBAN if you want to lock cover and bike together through its built-in lock-through panels, or the STASH if you would rather thread a cable lock through the brass eyelets at the hem.
