Vitus Bike Covers — Nucleus, Escarpe & Zenium

Vitus sells direct, and the range runs from road bikes through to full-suspension mountain bikes. Buy a bike that way and it often arrives into a house that has no room for it, so it ends up in a shed, a side alley or under a carport — outdoors, but worth keeping dry.

The mountain side of the range takes the XL / MTB. The road models take the STASH or the URBAN, and there is one model we would rather check with you first.

Accessories change the shape of a bike more than the frame does. Racks and panniers, a rear child seat, bar-mounted lights, a phone mount or wide bar ends all add width or length, and a bike that would otherwise take the STASH or URBAN may need the XL / MTB once they are on. All BikeParka covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric, and they're PFAS- and PFC-free. Adjustable toggles draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each one packs into its own Stuff Sac. The URBAN has built-in lock-through panels so cover and bike can be secured together; the STASH and XL / MTB have brass eyelets at the hem for threading a cable lock.

Which size cover?

The STASH and the URBAN are the same size and fit the same bikes: road, gravel, hybrid, commuter and city bikes, plus standard e-bikes, with handlebars up to 63cm wide. The XL / MTB is wider, taking handlebars up to 100cm, so it is the cover for mountain bikes, trekking bikes, bigger frames, bulkier e-bikes, or a standard bike carrying a rear child seat. Measure your bars end to end and work from that number.

Which cover fits a Vitus Escarpe?

The XL / MTB. It takes handlebars up to 100cm, which suits the Escarpe and the rest of the mountain range, including the e-MTBs.

What fits a Vitus Zenium?

The Zenium takes the STASH or the URBAN. They are the same size and fit, so the difference is locking: the URBAN has built-in lock-through panels for securing cover and bike together, while the STASH has brass eyelets at the hem for a cable lock.

Will the STASH fit a Vitus Nucleus?

No — the Nucleus needs the XL / MTB. The STASH and URBAN are made for handlebars up to 63cm, which is narrower than a mountain bar.
