Ridgeback Bike Covers — Advance, Arcus & Errand
Ridgeback builds everyday bikes — the sort ridden to work, to school and to the shops rather than kept for weekends. Bikes in daily use rarely make it back indoors: they get left in a front garden, a side passage, a communal bike store or a yard, where they sit out whatever the week's weather does.
Most of the Ridgeback range takes the XL / MTB, our wider cover. The Electron takes the STASH or the URBAN, and there are a few models we would rather confirm with you before recommending anything.
Which BikeParka fits your Ridgeback?
| Bike type | Models | Recommended cover |
|---|---|---|
| Hybrid, commuter and utility | Advance, Arcus 3 (including the Arcus 3W low-step), Errand, Speed, Motion | XL / MTB |
| Standard-bar models | Electron | STASH or URBAN |
| Not yet confirmed | Storm*, Cyclone*, Rapide* | Message us to confirm |
* We don't hold confirmed fit data for the Storm, Cyclone and Rapide, so we would rather check than guess. Send us the model and year and we'll tell you which cover to go for.
A front basket, a rack with the panniers left on or a rear child seat all add width and height, so send us the model and what is fitted and we'll check before you order.
Every BikeParka is a waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop, PFAS- and PFC-free. The STASH and XL / MTB carry brass hem eyelets for a cable lock; the URBAN has lock-through panels built in.
Which size cover?
Measure the bars end to end and the answer follows. Up to 63cm the STASH or URBAN fits, which is where the Electron sits; the XL / MTB reaches 100cm and suits the rest of the range, as well as any bike carrying a rear child seat.
Ridgeback cover questions
Which cover fits a Ridgeback Advance?
The XL / MTB. It takes handlebars up to 100cm, and it also leaves room if the bike is carrying a rack, panniers or a rear child seat.
What fits a Ridgeback Arcus 3?
The XL / MTB, and that includes the Arcus 3W low-step. The STASH and URBAN are built for handlebars up to 63cm, which is narrower than this bike needs.
Which cover suits a Ridgeback Electron?
The Electron takes the STASH or the URBAN — same size, same fit. If the bike is locked up outside, the URBAN is worth a look: it has built-in lock-through panels so cover and bike can be secured together, while the STASH has brass eyelets at the hem for a cable lock. With a rear child seat or heavy panniers fitted, go up to the XL / MTB. The Electron has been discontinued; the current equivalent is the Ridgeback Advance.
