Raleigh is a long-standing British bike maker, and its bikes turn up on driveways and in side returns all over the country. Most Raleigh owners are riding an everyday bike or an e-bike for the commute, the school run or the shops, which is exactly the sort of riding that ends with the bike parked outside rather than carried through the house.

Across the range, most Raleigh models take the XL / MTB — the wider bars and the taller, bulkier e-bike frames need the extra room. The front-loading Stride 2 is the exception and needs the Cargo cover.

Which BikeParka fits your Raleigh?

Accessories change the fit more than the frame does. Rear racks, panniers left on the bike, large front baskets, mirrors, phone mounts and rear child seats all add height or width, and a bike that would otherwise slip under a standard cover can suddenly need the next size up. All BikeParka covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric, and they're PFAS- and PFC-free. Adjustable toggles draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each one packs into its own Stuff Sac. The URBAN has lock-through openings so cover and bike can be secured together; the STASH and XL / MTB have brass eyelets at the hem for threading a cable lock.

Which size cover?

The STASH and the URBAN are the same size and fit: standard bikes — road, gravel, hybrid, commuter, city and standard e-bikes — with handlebars up to 63cm. The difference is how you secure them. The URBAN has built-in lock-through panels so a lock can pass through the cover and the bike together, while the STASH has brass eyelets at the hem for threading a cable lock. The XL / MTB takes handlebars up to 100cm and suits mountain bikes, trekking bikes, bigger frames, bulkier e-bikes, or a standard bike carrying a rear child seat — which is where most Raleigh e-bikes land. The Cargo cover is for front-loaders and box bikes at approximately 276cm long, 130cm high and up to 120cm wide, with handlebars up to 120cm.

Which cover fits a Raleigh Motus?

The XL / MTB. The Motus is a fuller-bodied e-bike, and the XL / MTB takes handlebars up to 100cm, so there's room for the bars, the motor and any rack or panniers you leave on.

The Cargo cover. It's made for front-loaders and box bikes at approximately 276cm long, 130cm high and up to 120cm wide, with handlebars up to 120cm.

Do I need a bigger cover if my Raleigh Array has a rear child seat?

The XL / MTB is still the one to go for — it's the size we recommend for a standard bike with a rear child seat fitted, as well as for e-bikes like the Array. Send us your model and the seat you use and we'll confirm.
