Genesis Bike Covers — Croix de Fer, Equilibrium & Vagabond
Genesis is a British brand known for steel road, gravel and adventure bikes — the sort that get ridden all year rather than saved for dry Sundays. A Croix de Fer or a Tour de Fer is usually somebody's commuter, tourer and weekend bike all at once, and bikes that get used that often tend to be parked where they are convenient: a back yard, a side return, a garden fence, a communal bike rack outside a flat.
Most of the range sits on the STASH or the URBAN, which are the same size as each other. The wider-barred adventure bikes step up to the XL / MTB.
Which BikeParka fits your Genesis?
| Bike type | Models | Recommended cover |
|---|---|---|
| Road, gravel and touring | Croix de Fer, Equilibrium, Fugio, Tour de Fer | STASH or URBAN |
| Adventure and wide-bar off-road | Vagabond, Longitude | XL / MTB |
Front and rear racks, mudguards, a bar bag or panniers left on the bike all add bulk, so tell us the model and what stays fitted and we'll check before you order.
Every BikeParka is waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop, PFAS- and PFC-free, and packs into its own Stuff Sac. The URBAN locks through built-in panels; the STASH and XL / MTB take a cable lock through brass eyelets at the hem.
Which size cover?
Bar width is what decides it, so run a tape across yours first. The STASH and URBAN are the same size and take bars up to 63cm — the difference is how they lock — while the XL / MTB goes up to 100cm for the wider adventure bikes.
Genesis cover questions
Which cover fits a Croix de Fer?
The STASH or the URBAN. They are the same size and both fit standard bikes with handlebars up to 63cm, which covers the Croix de Fer. Pick the URBAN if you want the built-in lock-through panels so cover and bike can be secured together, or the STASH if you would rather thread a cable lock through the brass eyelets at the hem.
Does the Vagabond need a bigger cover than the Equilibrium?
Yes. The Equilibrium sits on the STASH or URBAN, but the Vagabond is a wider-barred adventure bike and takes the XL / MTB, which handles handlebars up to 100cm.
What about a Tour de Fer with racks and panniers fitted?
The Tour de Fer itself takes the STASH or URBAN. Racks and panniers left on the bike add bulk the cover has to go over, so if yours is set up for touring, send us the model and the kit you leave fitted and we'll check before you order.
