Cube Bike Covers — MTB, Trekking, E-Bikes & Cargo

Cube is one of the most-owned bike brands in Europe, and the range runs the whole way from the Reaction hardtail to the Kathmandu trekking bike to the Cargo Hybrid family bikes. Most of them end up parked outside at some point, which is where a proper cover earns its money.

The majority of Cubes take the XL / MTB, because flat bars and trekking cockpits are wide. Drop-bar Cubes take the STASH or URBAN, and the cargo models have their own covers.

All BikeParka covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric, and they’re PFAS- and PFC-free. Adjustable toggles draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each one packs into its own Stuff Sac. The URBAN, Longtail, Longtail WS and Cargo have lock-through openings so cover and bike can be secured together; the STASH and XL / MTB have brass eyelets at the hem for threading a cable lock.

Which size cover?

The STASH and URBAN are the same size and fit standard bikes with handlebars up to 63cm wide. The XL / MTB takes handlebars up to 100cm, which is what most Cube mountain and trekking bikes need. The Longtail and Longtail WS fit bikes up to approximately 210cm long with handlebars up to about 80cm. Our Kids / BMX cover fits children’s bikes up to 140cm long and 120cm high with handlebars up to 55cm.

How to fit a longtail cover

The BikeParka Longtail and Longtail WS are fitted from the back of the bike towards the front. Start by pulling the rear of the cover over the rear deck, rack or child seats. Work the cover forward along the bike, then pull the front over the handlebars. Finally, adjust the toggles to draw the cover in around the bike.

Cargo cover sizing

The BikeParka Cargo cover measures approximately 276cm long, 130cm high and up to 120cm wide, sized to drop over front-loaders and box trikes with room for baskets and rain tents removed or folded flat.

Which cover fits a Cube Reaction or Stereo?

The XL / MTB. Both are mountain bikes with wide flat bars, so they need the extra width the XL gives around the cockpit rather than the STASH or URBAN.

Which cover fits a Cube Kathmandu or Touring?

The XL / MTB. Trekking bikes have wide, often swept-back bars and usually carry racks and mudguards, so the larger cover is the easier fit.

Which cover fits a Cube Nuroad or Attain?

The STASH or URBAN. Drop-bar road and gravel bikes sit well inside the 63cm handlebar limit. Choose the URBAN if you want lock-through panels to secure cover and bike together, or the STASH for the simpler version with brass hem eyelets.

Which cover fits the Cube Cargo Hybrid?

The BikeParka Cargo. Cube’s front-loader platform is around 267cm long, and the Cargo cover is sized at roughly 276cm to drop over it. That applies to the older Cargo Hybrid and Cargo Sport Dual Hybrid names as well as the current Cargo Hybrid 800 family. At 267cm both the Cargo Hybrid and the Cargo Sport Dual Hybrid sit close to the cover’s length, and any front accessories left fitted will use up the room that is left.

Which cover fits the Cube Longtail Hybrid?

The Longtail if no child seats are fitted, or the wider and taller Longtail WS with seats. This applies to both the Longtail Hybrid 725 and the Longtail Sport Hybrid 725.

Which cover fits a Cube Cubie or Numove kids bike?

The Kids / BMX cover fits the Cubie 120, Cubie 160 and the 20-inch Numove 200. The bigger 24-inch juniors, the Acid 240 and Numove 240, are past what the Kids / BMX cover is cut for, and we haven’t confirmed which of our adult covers suits them best. Send us the model and we’ll tell you.
