Benno Bike Covers — Boost, RemiDemi & 46er
Benno's Etility bikes squeeze cargo-bike usefulness into a footprint not much bigger than a regular bike — which is exactly why so many of them live outside the front door, hauling kids and shopping every day.
Most Bennos are standard-bike shaped and take the XL / MTB. The exception is the RemiDemi XL, a true longtail that takes the Longtail WS when seats are fitted.
Which BikeParka fits your Benno?
| Model | Length (circa) | Recommended cover |
|---|---|---|
| Boost E | Approximately 188cm | XL / MTB |
| RemiDemi 9D | Approximately 171cm | XL / MTB |
| 46er | 186cm | XL / MTB |
| RemiDemi XL (longtail) | Approximately 199cm | Longtail WS with child seats fitted (it takes two), or Longtail with no seats fitted |
Child seats, baskets, racks and other accessories can affect the fit. Running an unusual setup? Send us your exact model and accessories and we'll check it before you order.
Every BikeParka cover is made from waterproof ripstop with taped seams and has lock slots, so you can lock cover and bike together. Adjustable toggles cinch the cover down in wind, and each one packs into its own Stuff Sac.
How to fit a cover on a longtail
The BikeParka Longtail and Longtail WS go on back-to-front. Start with the rear of the cover over the rear deck, rack or child seats. Work the cover forward along the bike and pull the front over the handlebars. Finally, adjust the toggles so the cover sits snug.
Benno cover questions
Which cover fits the Benno Boost?
The XL / MTB. At approximately 188cm long, with 67.5cm riser bars, the Boost is standard-bike shaped — the XL's extra room covers the cockpit and any front basket.
Which cover fits the Benno RemiDemi XL?
The RemiDemi XL is a proper longtail that can carry two child seats on its rack, so with seats fitted the cover is the Longtail WS. With no seats fitted, the standard Longtail. It is approximately 199cm long — that figure is derived rather than published by Benno, but it sits comfortably inside the 210cm the longtail covers take, so there is no need to measure unless your setup is unusual.
Why does a Benno need the XL / MTB rather than the STASH or URBAN?
It is the handlebars, not the length. The 46er and the Boost E both run 67.5cm bars and the RemiDemi 9D runs 70cm, all past the 63cm the STASH and URBAN take. The XL / MTB goes out to 100cm, so it is the rain cover that clears Benno's hi-rise bars. On length these bikes are unremarkable — the 46er is 186cm, barely more than a normal bike.
Does a front basket or rack change the cover choice?
Usually not on a Benno — the XL / MTB has room for front baskets. If your setup is heavily loaded, send us a photo or your measurements and we'll confirm.
