Yuba Bike Covers for Spicy Curry, Kombi & Mundo

Yuba cargo bikes are family workhorses, used for school runs, shopping and carrying children or cargo. Many live outside, where they need reliable protection from rain, dirt and winter weather.

The right BikeParka depends on your Yuba model and how the bike is set up. Most Yuba longtails and compact cargo bikes use either the BikeParka Longtail or Longtail WS. Yuba front-loaders use the larger Cargo cover.

All three covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric and include lock-through openings, allowing the cover and bike to be secured together. Adjustable toggles help draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each cover packs into its own Stuff Sac.

How to fit a cover to a Yuba cargo bike

The BikeParka Longtail and Longtail WS are fitted from the back of the bike towards the front. Start by pulling the rear of the cover over the rear deck, rack or child seats. Work the cover forward along the bike, then pull the front over the handlebars. Finally, adjust the toggles to draw the cover in around the bike.

Does the BikeParka Longtail fit a Yuba Spicy Curry?

For a Spicy Curry with no child seats fitted, the Longtail is the likely fit. With child seats fitted, it is the wider and taller Longtail WS. Spicy Curry generations vary slightly in length, and accessories such as Monkey Bars, large bags or a canopy can affect the fit. The Spicy Curry is 210cm bare, which is the full length the Longtail cover takes. Remove the front Bread Basket before covering — it sits forward of the front wheel and adds enough length to stop the cover reaching the nose. Rear Carry-On and rack extensions add length in the same way. Because this one sits right on the limit we treat it as a likely fit rather than a confirmed one, so send us your exact setup and we’ll confirm the model before you order.

Which cover fits a Yuba Kombi or Mundo?

Choose the Longtail if the bike has no rear child seats fitted. Choose the Longtail WS if child seats or a raised passenger setup are fitted. The Kombi is 191cm, and child seats on a Kombi mount to the rear rack, which puts it on the Longtail WS. At 211cm the Mundo is just past the length the Longtail cover takes, so there we would call it the likely fit rather than a confirmed one — remove any rear accessories, measure the bare bike and check the model with us before ordering. We do not have a confirmed handlebar width for either model.

Which cover fits a Yuba FastRack?

A FastRack with no child seats fitted normally uses the Longtail. With child seats or a taller rear passenger setup fitted, choose the Longtail WS. The FastRack is approximately 188cm long with bars of approximately 66cm, both comfortably inside what the longtail covers take.

Which cover fits the Yuba Boda Boda?

The Boda Boda is 196cm long. With child seats fitted it takes the Longtail WS; with no seats fitted, the standard Longtail. Yuba does not publish a handlebar width for it, so we assume it sits inside the 80cm the longtail covers take — tell us if yours has unusually wide bars and we’ll check before you order.

How wide are the handlebars on a Yuba, and does it matter?

Rarely, on a Yuba. The Longtail and Longtail WS both take handlebars up to 80cm, so length is usually what decides which rain cover you need. We hold a factory figure of 70cm for the Spicy Curry and 73cm for the Supermarché, and approximately 66cm for the FastRack. Yuba does not publish bar widths for the Boda Boda, Kombi or Mundo, so those are unconfirmed — measure yours if the bars look wide.

Is the Yuba Supermarché a tight fit in the Cargo cover?

It is close. At 265cm the Supermarché leaves around 11cm under the 276cm the Cargo cover takes, so cover the bare bike and take off anything that adds length at either end. The Supermarché is also an open-platform front-loader rather than a boxed one, and the Cargo cover is cut around a box — how it drapes over an open platform is something we have not yet confirmed. What about the Yuba Supermarché or Supercargo?

The Supermarché, Supercargo and Supercargo CL carry their main load in front of the rider. Their front-loader shape requires the BikeParka Cargo rather than either of the Longtail covers.
