Denmark more or less invented the family box trike, and Nihola, Christiania and Winther are still the bikes doing the school run across Copenhagen and far beyond. Most live outside all year, in proper northern weather.

Child seats, baskets, canopies, crates and other accessories can change the fit. For an unusual setup, send us your exact bike model and accessories and we’ll check before you order.

All BikeParka covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric and include lock-through openings, allowing the cover and bike to be secured together. Adjustable toggles help draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each cover packs into its own Stuff Sac.

Cargo cover sizing

The BikeParka Cargo cover measures approximately 276cm long, 130cm high and up to 120cm wide, sized to drop over front-loaders and box trikes with room for baskets and rain tents removed or folded flat.

Danish cargo trike cover questions

Does one cover really fit all these trikes?

Yes. Nihola, Christiania and Winther box trikes are all between 180cm and 238cm long and 87–99cm wide, and the Cargo cover’s generous width (up to 120cm) is made to drop over a box trike.

Can I leave the hood or canopy on?

Fold hoods and canopies flat or take them off before covering. Benches, belts and child seats inside the box are no problem.

My Nihola is a GEN2 — do the same dimensions apply?

Nihola haven’t published GEN2 dimensions yet, but dealers list the Family GEN2 at the same circa 200cm footprint as the original. If you’re unsure, send us your model and we’ll check.
