Woom Bike Covers — Original, OFF & EXPLORE

Woom is an Austrian maker of lightweight children's bikes, numbered by size from the first balance bike upwards through the Original, OFF, NOW and EXPLORE ranges. They are bought to be ridden every day, and children's bikes that get ridden every day are the ones that never quite make it indoors.

They end up in the garden, leaned on the fence, at the side of the house or outside a garage with no room left in it. The smaller Wooms take our Kids / BMX cover. The larger models are bigger than that cover is cut for, and we would rather check those with you than guess.

Which BikeParka fits your Woom?

Accessories change the shape a cover has to go over. A basket, a bell, a rear rack, mudguards, a name plate or a parent handle left fitted all add width, height or length, and a NOW with its front basket on is a bigger job than the same bike bare. If you are close to a size limit, or you are not sure, send us your exact bike model and accessories and we'll check before you order.

All BikeParka covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric, and they're PFAS- and PFC-free. Adjustable toggles draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each one packs into its own Stuff Sac. The URBAN has built-in lock-through panels so cover and bike can be secured together; the STASH and XL / MTB have brass eyelets at the hem for threading a cable lock.

Which size cover?

The Kids / BMX cover is made for children's bikes and BMX up to 140cm long, 120cm high, with handlebars up to 55cm. It is not intended for small adult bikes or folding bikes, even if they look about the right size. Above that, the STASH and the URBAN are the same size as one another and fit standard bikes with handlebars up to 63cm — they differ in how they lock, not in how they fit — and the XL / MTB takes handlebars up to 100cm for mountain bikes, trekking bikes, bigger frames and bulkier e-bikes. Measure the bars end to end, and measure overall length and height too, since a bigger junior bike can pass on bar width and still be too long.

Which cover fits a Woom Original 3?

The Kids / BMX. The Original 3 is around 48cm across the handlebars, inside the 55cm that cover takes, and the bike sits within its 140cm length and 120cm height. The Original 1 and 2 are narrower again, at around 40cm and 42cm.

Does the Original 4 still fit, and what about the NOW 4 and EXPLORE 4?

Yes, all three take the Kids / BMX. The Original 4 is around 54cm across the bars and the NOW 4 and EXPLORE 4 around 55cm, right on the limit — so if yours has bar-end grips, a mirror or anything else adding width, message us first and we will check.

Which cover fits an Original 5 or 6, an OFF, a NOW 5 or an EXPLORE 5 or 6?

These are bigger than the Kids / BMX cover is cut for — that one is made for bikes up to 140cm long, 120cm high, with bars up to 55cm, and these models sit above it. We have not confirmed which adult cover suits them. The STASH and URBAN take handlebars up to 63cm and the XL / MTB takes up to 100cm, so one of those is the likely answer depending on the bike, but we would rather measure than guess.
