YT Industries is a German gravity brand that sells direct, so its bikes tend to arrive at the door and stay near it. These are trail, enduro and downhill machines with wide bars and long frames, and they are heavy and muddy enough that carrying them up a stairwell after every ride quickly loses its charm.

Almost the whole range takes the XL / MTB, the wider of our two sizes. The gravel bike in the line-up has narrow drop bars, and that one fits the STASH or the URBAN.

Which BikeParka fits your YT?

Accessories change the shape of a bike more than the frame does. Wide bars, a bar-mounted light or GPS mount, a rack, a top box or a rear child seat can all push a bike into the next size up, and mudguards add length at both ends. All BikeParka covers are made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop fabric, and they're PFAS- and PFC-free. Adjustable toggles draw the cover in around the bike on windy days, and each one packs into its own Stuff Sac. The URBAN has built-in lock-through panels so cover and bike can be secured together; the STASH and XL / MTB have brass eyelets at the hem for threading a cable lock.

Which size cover?

It comes down to handlebar width. The STASH and the URBAN are the same size and the same fit: both suit standard bikes — road, gravel, hybrid, commuter, city and standard e-bikes — with handlebars up to 63cm. The XL / MTB takes handlebars up to 100cm, so it is the one for mountain bikes, trekking bikes, bigger frames, bulkier e-bikes, or a standard bike with a rear child seat. Wherever we suggest the STASH, the URBAN fits exactly the same, so the choice between the two comes down to locking: the URBAN has built-in lock-through panels, while the STASH has brass eyelets at the hem.

Which cover fits a YT Jeffsy?

The XL / MTB. It is made for handlebars up to 100cm, which covers the Jeffsy and the rest of the trail and enduro range.

Is there a cover for the YT Capra?

Yes, the XL / MTB. The Capra, the Tues and the Decoy all sit within its 100cm handlebar limit, and the extra room suits a bulkier frame.

What about the YT Szepter?

The Szepter is a gravel bike with narrower bars, so it takes the STASH or the URBAN. Both are the same size and fit; choose the URBAN if you want to secure cover and bike together through its built-in lock-through panels, or the STASH if you would rather thread a cable lock through the brass hem eyelets.
