Christiania Bike Cover — Classic, Model P, Long +30 & 2Wheeler

The Christiania is the cargo bike many Danes picture first: the box out in front, children or shopping inside it, and usually parked outside all year in proper northern weather.

For every Christiania model we recommend the BikeParka Cargo — our largest cover, made for box bikes and trikes. One cover covers every box option, from the Classic Short to the two-wheeled 2Wheeler.

Lengths are Christiania’s own factory figures. “Recommended” means we have worked the fit out from those figures; it has not yet been confirmed on a bike.

Sloped, Straight or Long +30 — what does it mean for the cover?

The Straight box has taller, straight sides, but it is not longer: the Classic Sloped and the Classic Straight are both 208cm. Only the Long +30 adds length. Every three-wheeled version is 87cm wide, well inside the Cargo cover’s 120cm.

Hood and 2Wheeler

We hold no measurements for any Christiania with the hood up, so we do not claim the cover goes over it. Fold the hood down or take it off before covering. Benches, belts and cushions inside the box are no problem. The 2Wheeler has plenty of room in length, but Christiania publish no height for it — if your 2Wheeler has a hood, message us before you order.

About the Cargo cover

The BikeParka Cargo is approximately 276cm long and 130cm high, and is cut for handlebars up to 120cm. It is made from waterproof, seam-sealed ripstop and is PFAS- and PFC-free. Lock-through openings at the front and back on both sides let you lock bike and cover together, adjustable toggles draw the cover in on windy days, and it packs into its own Stuff Sac.

Christiania cover questions

Which BikeParka cover fits a Christiania cargo bike?

The Cargo, for every model. The Classic Short, Sloped, Straight and Model P are between 187cm and 208cm long, the Long +30 is 238cm and the 2Wheeler 252cm, and all sit inside the Cargo cover’s approximately 276cm.

Is the Classic Straight longer than the Classic Sloped?

No. The Straight box has taller, straight sides, but both models are 208cm long. Only the Long +30 is longer.

Can I leave the hood up under the cover?

We have no measurements for a Christiania with the hood up, so fold it down or take it off first. If your 2Wheeler has a hood, message us before you order.
